If an assignment is not turned in or is less than 75% completed, a Late Work form will be issued to the student.  (This does not apply to students who are absent on the due date and are unable to turn in their work.)  A Late Work form states that the assignment can be completed and turned in the following morning with a 10 point deduction in the grade.  The Late Work form also needs to be signed by a parent/guardian and attached to the assignment in order for it to be accepted for credit.  If those things are not completed, the assignment will be considered missing.  A zero will then be placed in the grade book.  A total number of late/missing assignments for each week will be recorded in the student's Friday Folder.  When a student receives a Late Work, the student will not be allowed to participate in the Fun Friday activity.  If a student receives four or more Late Works in one week, a before or after school detention will be assigned.
